Farm Fresh Brown Eggs

Our flock is of heritage breeds and are producers of large brown eggs.“Our girls” are raised as free run, giving them a natural wholesome and stress free environment to enjoy life. Their feed is supplemented with all the greens and ‘chicken goodies’ they can eat. Happy Chickens Give Healthy Eggs!

Other little things of interest…

· Our 90 acres of organically worked farm land is done to ensure that we create a more wholesome surrounding environment for our home, our flock and all creatures great and small.

· We also sell seasoned split firewood ( dependant upon area of harvesting) which we harvest in a sustainable way to ensure the health of the 40 acre woodland/old orchard and its varied habitats.

· We organically grow our own vegetables and herbs for our own consumption and usually have some to sell at farm gate – please feel free to just ask to see what is available. A short walk to visit our veggie patch might just add something delicious to your menu.

· We also make our own maple syrup every spring. This is becoming our first taste of Spring event in our household, boiled down over open fire ‘old fashion way’. It is by chance to purchase from farm gate the yummy taste of maple syrup.

· Our century old farmhouse, which we have been lovingly restoring and landscaping in keeping with a Victorian era. We believe in refurbishing and reusing in our restoration process.
